New Year’s Greetings to all!!!!   We hope and pray 2012 will be a healthy and bountiful year for all of us.

Let me take this opportunity too to thank the wonderful families we visited and who opened their doors to us, served sumptuous lunch, meriendas and dinners, as we relived the old tradition of singing Christmas carols with them for 2 week-ends:

To all the families and carolers I thank you very much for your endless support to the Ibaan Association.  To those who missed this holiday fun we hope you will join us next year.

 

A FEW ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Getting to more serious business, I would like to announce that we will have a meeting at Deo/Myrna Villafrancas’ residence, 3546 No. Stickman Ave.  Baldwin Park, CA 91706  Tel no: (626)337-4190 cell (626)315-4732.  It was decided at the last meeting that we experiment on having a food theme every meeting, simple but delicious merienda or meal as appropriate sort of.  This time as agreed, it will be Italian, we will just order pizza (on the association) so it’s fresh and hot.  If you wish to bring water, or soda, green salad, please let Myrna know to avoid duplication.  Also, please let Belen Anderson(our newly elected Secretary) know by calling or emailing her if you are coming to the meeting.   • Our casino fund raising turn-around will be on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Primm Valley.  Please contact Romy Villafranca (323)225-4146 or Nhell Baes (626)338-8924 for details.  Help us find people to join us.  We need 50 passengers.
  • Val Perez, our newly elected Public Relations Officer has worked on a blogsite where you could view current announcements, photos and videos.  Please visit www.ibaanassociation.wordpress.com.  We (Val, Danny Boy and myself) are still working on some contents/details and the possibility of having our own Ibaan Association website.  We will keep you posted and do more discussion on this at our meeting.
